Using TAP

To all- Has anyone used the product "TAP" ? The image is pretty good but when I tried to get rid of the rather plastic surface- no luck. I left it soaking for several hours, tried a little soap in one corner but to no avail. Instructions are very thorough up to that point but rather vague on how to get a softer hand . Unless someone has a better idea I think I will throw it in the washing machine.

  1. I believe Heather Dubreuil bought some TAP at Houston. Not sure if she's tried it yet, and she is in England at the moment.

  2. I haven't used TAP but another product called Heat Transfer Paper. There are two qualities and I was very impressed with the ease of ironing the image onto the fabric and the quality of the image but it was only the slightest bit plasticky.

The more expensive of the two is the one where you don't have to mirror the image (important with text).

Sorry I can't be more helpful. I'll ask around and see if anyone else has tried it here. Heather is in email contact so you could still ask her. She's having a great time. We are meeting up next week.

  3. Thanks Hilary and Linda. I did contact Heather . For her use, it is good as is. I have not machine washed it as I want to show it to some people who may feel as Heather does and have not used it yet. Marion
