Feeling Frenzy

Deadlines approaching and I am consumed in background fill on a whole cloth. My 'frenzied' theme wasn't working out as planned, panic set in. Helena mentioned frenzy related to the Christmas season so I jumped on it. I had a nice afternoon working on this.

  1. I must admit when I heard the theme and realized it was in the run up to Christmas I thought 'how appropriate!' I so glad some picked up on this one. Stunning quilting and 'story telling', Colleeen.

  3. An anti-frenzy! I thought to do something like that too - that eye of the storm type of calm. Your work is exquisite and you've captured the moment.

  4. Ah yes, the phenomenon of the duck, every feather smooth and in place but paddling like mad under the water. We can all relate to that kind of frenzy.

  5. We have a saying in the states: "Don't let them see you sweat." Your piece made me think of all the times that I throw my junk in a room and close the door and my guests think I am so organized - and they never need to know about the chaos! :-) Love your gorgeous quilting and details done with thread - beautiful!
